November 6, 2008, Reston, VA. Outcome Capital announces addition of Paul Klick as a partner in its investment banking business, and promotes two other staff members.
Paul S. Klick, IV recently joined Outcome Capital as a partner to head up its Financial Technology investment banking practice. Previously, Paul spent over 12 years with the investment banking group at Friedman Billings Ramsey, where he executed over $8.0 billion in transactions.. Most recently, Paul was responsible for FBR’s Financial Technology group within the Technology, Media and Telecom Group. Jonathan Wallace, a co-founding partner of Outcome Capital commented that “We are very excited to have Paul as a part of our group and believe that he will add significantly to our depth in the financial services sector.”
Outcome Capital has promoted James McCabe to Vice President. Jim had been an associate with Outcome Capital for the past two years. Prior to joining Outcome Capital, he had worked at Lafarge SA, a multinational construction materials firm, in the corporate finance and acquisitions group for North America. Jim previously spent time pursuing leveraged buyout opportunities with Kasten Group, LLC in the St. Louis area, and engaging in restructuring and M&A transactions with Seneca Financial Group, a boutique investment bank in Greenwich, CT. Jim received his MBA with honors from the University of Chicago’s GSB and a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School.
Outcome Capital has also promoted Ryan Fay to Associate after serving 2 years as an Analyst with the firm. He will continue to work on investment banking transactions while providing support for Outcome Capital’s private equity funds. Prior to joining Outcome Capital full-time in 2006, Ryan was a summer analyst for the company in 2005. Ryan completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia where he earned a bachelor’s degree from the McIntire School of Commerce with a concentration in finance and a minor in American Government.
Outcome Capital’s registered broker-dealer recently announced the completed sale of Flight Explorer, a leading provider of Commercial Aircraft Situation Display (ASD) solutions providing real-time tracking, reporting, and display of enroute aircraft, to Sabre Holdings. Other recent successful investment banking mandates completed by Outcome Capital included the sale of Claraview, Inc. to Teradata, and the recapitalization of PSS, Inc. by a group led by CM Equity Partners. In Outcome Capital’s private equity capital fund management business, the firm had a successful exit from ServiceBench, which was sold to NEW earlier in the year. Existing portfolio companies include AWS Convergence Technologies, BioPay Paycheck Secure, Brightdoor Systems, Catalyst IT Services, DoublePositive, First Equity Card, Genesis Financial, Preferred System Solutions, and Social Solutions.
