Outcome Capital Secures Growth Capital for Whisker Labs

(the “Company”) has secured growth capital from State Farm Ventures and Ferguson Ventures along with the Company’s existing investors to accelerate the development and distribution of the Company’s Ting™ sensing technology. Outcome Capital provided exclusive financial advisory services to the Company.

Based in Germantown, MD, Whisker Labs develops sensing and software technology for home intelligence. The Company’s Ting™ product is a smart-sensor that monitors a home’s electrical network. Plugged into any outlet in the home, Ting™ detects damaged wires, loose connections and faulty appliances. In addition to fire safety, Ting™ provides meaningful information to homeowners on conditions and events of high relevance, such as power outages, weather warnings and even notifications that their HVAC or other essential appliances may be about to fail.
