OralDNA® Labs Acquires IP Assets of Direct DiagnosticsMinneapolis, MN: OralDNA® Labs, the largest provider of oral microbiome testing services for the professional market, purchased the intellectual property assets of Direct Diagnostics on September 1, 2024. This transaction will provide an opportunity for Direct Diagnostic customers to continue testing with an industry leader. Outcome Capital, a Boston-based life science dedicated investment bank, assisted in facilitating this transaction and acted as the exclusive financial and strategic advisor to Direct Diagnostics.

OralDNA® Labs has been actively working with Direct Diagnostic customers to continue support for their testing needs. “We have been helping providers and have maintained the web portal, allowing access to previously reported test results to continue care for patients”, says George Hoedeman, the CEO of Access Genetics® (parent of OralDNA® Labs).
